Why do I crave sweet things?

I try to eat a piece of fruit for dessert after a meal; however, when I have substituted after-meal sweet cravings with fruit, I still end up craving some other type of sweets (i.e., candy, chocolate, ice cream.) It seems that after every meal, I can't feel satisfied until I have eaten something of this food category. I do try to listen to my body and this appears to be programmed into my mind telling my body it is wanting this food consistently. Can you provide any explanation as I am trying to lose weight and this type of food is empty calories and unhealthy? I work out six days a week and have recently given up smoking.

What is gestational diabetes?

I have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes; however, it was detected late in my pregnancy — I am at thirty-two weeks. Normally, diagnosis comes at twenty-eight weeks or prior. I am worried that I may have been diabetic for a long period of time, and am worried about how my baby may have been affected so far. All I have learned so far is that it can cause big babies, and potential respiratory problems. I am going to see a health care person at the gestational diabetes clinic tomorrow to be put on a special diet. I would appreciate any information you can provide me with on this topic. Thank you.

Why is the inside of my vagina bumpy?

A woman wrote and asked you if her vagina was normal. You told her to get checked for STDs but you never answered her question. When she put her finger in her vagina, she felt bumps (she said: stalactites/stalagmites?) I, too, feel this and would like to know if this is normal. I've been to the doctor many times and have never been told that I have genital warts or herpes. Do they all have this kind of texture or am I not normal?

Should I come out as bi and tell my friend I'm interested in her?

I am a 19 year old female, and I am bisexual. I haven't come out of the closet yet, but I have told one really trustworthy friend. I am really afraid to come out of the closet because I know that my family will never accept it. That and one of my friends, I sort of like but I would never do anything to make her feel uncomfortable. So I haven't told her yet either. What do I do? I hate this whole being in the middle thing. She is really a great person and I can totally understand if she doesn't have the same feelings I do about her but I would really like to tell her the way I feel with out ruining our friendship if I did tell her. I know it's a rock and a hard place but do you have any advice for me? It would really be appreciated.

What should I do if my boyfriend says no to role-playing?

I love my boyfriend, and communication is great, but things have gotten a little... boring.

I have this scenario that involves role-playing that I'm dying to try, but when I asked my boyfriend if he thought role-playing would be too kinky, he responded that he doesn't see the need for it and "why would I want to imagine someone else if I have you?" That was very sweet, but it makes me feel guilty to approach the subject again. I don't want him to think I love him less than he loves me, I just think it would be fun to try...

So, how do I tactfully re-approach this with him... or do I just try to forget about it and accept that we be confined to "business as usual"? Please help, Alice.

How do I suck someone's balls?

I've always come to this site to either browse through others' problems and compare them to my own and because I've been sexually curious for as long as I can remember. Recently, a guy I've been friends with and I have started to "get to know each other." Last night, this question arose: How exactly do you "suck balls" and what are the benefits? I looked through everyone's questions, and I didn't see this one.
